Watercolour Dreams ... DIY favor tags

This little project is a great DIY to add some personality to your favors. Create as many designs as you can in horizontals, verticals and diagonals. Just make sure that you use the same colour combinations for all your designs. Don't be too preoccupied with similar designs not looking the same. The subtle differences are all part of DIY projects and make your creations feel more personal.

See it ... Watercolour Dreams

Colours galore! This watercolor-inspired photo shoot featured on Green Wedding Shoes has many great ideas. I love the coordination of the stationery and the centerpieces. The colours and prints really tied the look together.

Watercolour Dreams ... Colour the bouquet

It would be such a delight to hold this bouquet, a summery mix of colors to hold its own against a beautiful dreamy gown.

Style Board: Watercolour Dreams

There is so much creativity that you can showcase with this theme. Create small watercolour paintings of splatters or streaks, keeping things geometric helps to ground the kaleidoscope of colours. Arranging flowers in vases according to their colors resemble a paint palette and creates greater impact. I love the idea of illustrating the gown and bouquet, it's a great keepsake that makes wonderful decor in a new home.

Watercolour Dreams

I love the soft soothing feel of watercolors. Though the colours are mellow, the kaleidoscope of blues, reds and yellows create a cheery backdrop thats wonderful for a summer wedding. It's a great theme to work some DIY magic, enlist the help of friends and family. You will be surprised at the masterpieces that you can create.
