Watercolour Dreams ... Little details

I love the idea of painting a mini masterpiece as gifting them as favors. It feels personal and shows your guests how much you really appreciate their presence. You do not have to create anything fancy, just simple patterns with a good mix of watercolours will warm their hearts. Use ribbons and tassels to bring out the essence of a watercolour theme, it is easy and budget-friendly.

Watercolour Dreams ... Colour the bouquet

It would be such a delight to hold this bouquet, a summery mix of colors to hold its own against a beautiful dreamy gown.

Style Board: Watercolour Dreams

There is so much creativity that you can showcase with this theme. Create small watercolour paintings of splatters or streaks, keeping things geometric helps to ground the kaleidoscope of colours. Arranging flowers in vases according to their colors resemble a paint palette and creates greater impact. I love the idea of illustrating the gown and bouquet, it's a great keepsake that makes wonderful decor in a new home.

Look it ... Pistachio Lavender Cream

Purple makeup is a great way of brightening up your face, it complements most skin tones and is just as sultry as the usual black smokey eye look. Go soft with lavenders and lilacs, a clean definition of the eyes with gel liner, and if you are feeling just a little playful, play up the lips with a plum lip colour. Or go bold and dramatic on the eyes with plums and deep purple, a generous lashing of kohl liner, and swipe lips with just a hint of peach or coral. I'm loving dramatic eyes with matte soft pink lips.

Feeling adventurous, and have a rocking pistachio-coloured gown, then you may want to go with icy mint eyes, or a greyish green smokey eye. Complete the look with coral lips and lots of gloss.

Style Board: Lavender Pistachio Cream

Warm days beckon for refreshing colours to cool us down. A soft pastel mix of lavender and pistachio provides reprieve from the glare and heat of the sun. Keep the background simple with whites and cream, then splash out the colours on the centerpieces, table linens and food. With such a calming palette, you'll be chilling and enjoying great company under the warm summer sun.

Bell Jar Displays

A really clever way of using bell jars to showcase a centerpiece. Display a small arrangement on a glass pedestal bowl and cap it with a bell jar, it's simple yet elegant. For stunning visuals when your guests enter the room, alternate the tables with the bell jar displays and tall centerpieces.

I love that chartreuse works so well for both fair and dark skin tones. The lighter and brighter hue is great for dark complexion, while the darker hue really shows off fair skin tones.
