Dreamy Ruffles ... Cakes

These lovely ruffly cakes look so delectable. Delicate piping make the cakes look heavenly. Don't you adore the ombre cake, I'm not sure if anyone would bear to cut it.

Dress it ... bride #2: Dreamy Ruffles

Column and fit-and-flare dresses are very wonderful for showcasing gentle ruffles. Their streamlined silhouette coupled with the volume of the ruffles make for a feminine and chic look. I love the fit-and flare look as an updated version of the trumpet silhouette.

Dress it ... Bride: Dreamy Ruffles

Ball gowns are the classic way of showcasing beautiful ruffles. It can be small intricate frills, or big graceful waves. A slim fitted top will balance the full skirt, and a neat chic hairstyle will ensure that the ensemble is not too busy.

Dreamy ruffles

Ruffles have recently been HUGE on my list. Ruffled neckline paired with a basic pencil skirt for work, and a simple tank top with a pair of ruffled shorts for fun day out.  It's amazing how they can add such wonderful detail to a simple piece. Check out the ruffles on this gown, so pretty.
