Industrial Cool ... Party Setup

This look works best when the furnishings available are slightly mismatched. Mix wooden chairs with worn out metal ones, and throw in a few benches for that bit of quirkiness. Fairy lights and hanging pendant lights are simple lighting options, but you can add visual impact with a stunning chandelier or hanging glass tea light holders. If your venue has mostly white walls or floors, it will be fun to incorporate vibrant flower centerpieces. If luck is on your side and you find a venue complete with brick walls and raw concrete floors, neutral or white centerpieces will provide a bright and airy contrast. 
What I really love about this look is that there's no uniformity, everything is just a tad mismatch. So just go ahead, let loose and be creative.

Style Board ... Industrial Cool

The venue is the all important factor when it comes to a theme like this. Get that right, and you are halfway through your decor. Look out for raw brick walls and concrete walls, wooden tables, an array of metal and leather chairs and glass windows. Then add little details to bring some feminine touches: cream or white translucent fabric as table runners, small arrangement of flowers in glass jars and metal pails . I love the pop of colours that flowers can bring to the decor, opt for bright orange, yellow and fuchsia. If you prefer something neutral, then cream, whites and green will do the trick. It is really just about letting the venue take center stage, so don't deck out with luxurious fabrics and huge flower arrangements.

Industrial Cool

A recent visit to a cafe for an early morning cuppa had me bowled over. Yes, the coffee was good, but what drew me completely was the raw industrial interior: the brick walls, concrete and glass panels, wooden tables, metal pendant lights and leather armchairs. There was a surprising warmth to the decor that made me want to just sink into that armchair and indulge. It may seem odd to have such setting for a wedding, but it's cool and masculine, a refreshing change from the usual. Soften the look of the raw furnishings with layers of tulle and lace.

Dreamy Ruffles ... Bouquets

Wouldn't you love to keep these bouquets forever. Dahlia, peony and roses work their magic in the bouquets, bringing an explosion of texture thats both feminine and classic.

Dreamy Ruffles ... Frilly blooms

Your go-to bloom for ruffly petals ... Carnations. They are frilly and come in a huge array of colours, the best thing is that they are budget friendly. Peonies, ranunculus and dahlias make a big impact with their luscious blooms, and lovely structure.

Arm Candy ... Country Blue

These cuffs are a wonderful addition to a denim inspired outfit. The use of denim and leather provides good contrast of colour and texture, and gives a raw edgy feel to a feminine flowy maxi skirt.
