Citrus Crush ... It's in the little things

Little details really bring the wedding theme together. Interesting chair back decor, handmade lanterns and pom poms, fun napkin holders are pieces that you can use to give your wedding a fresh look. I especially adore the rustic wreath seen below, it's simple but makes such a visual impact. It's great as a wall decor for your new home!

Dress it ... bridesmaid: Citrus Crush

Pair a pleated maxi skirt with a cream or white top for an unexpected twist on a bridesmaid attire. What's more, the girls can rework the maxi skirt many times after the wedding. I'm loving the Elie Tahari dress for the interesting neckline and ultra feminine silhouette.

Citrus Crush ... Cake, anyone?

A beautifully crafted cake, no matter simple or extravagant, is a easy way to bring your wedding theme into the decor. It can be set on a table that is breaming with many other sweet treats, or amongst edible favors that guests will be able to bring home at the end of the reception.

Citrus Crush ... Pretty Outdoor Setting

Love, love, love this setup for a chic outdoor wedding. Hanging little jars filled with sprigs of flowers amongst small flower pomanders adds such wonderful visuals and scent. Complete the seemingly floating decor with a chandelier, divine! A display of flowers on a log lies low on the long table, and complements the jars and pomanders hanging from the ceiling. The decor comes together so well, I can imagine the exact look for a cosy dining area at home.

Citrus Crush ... Wrap it up

A citrus inspired theme brings to mind scrumptious treats for guests to bring home. Think homemade lemon bread loafs, jars of lemon curd or bottles of limoncello, finished with simple DIY gift tags. If you are not much of a chef, store brought items can easily be packed into basic gift boxes, and secured with pretty ribbons and fabric in hues of yellow and orange.

Citrus Crush ... Summer Treats

Creating a menu with orange, yellow and white can be exciting, throw in a good mix of texture and taste and your guests will be asking for seconds. To up the colour quotient, opt for stripes or graphic prints on table linen and napkins. It will be a feast for the palate and the eyes.

Citrus Crush ... Getaway car

Uber chic, I love the colour of the car. The cans hanging from the bumper is a fun detail to add. But as a safety precaution, make the ribbons shorter so that it hangs slightly off the bumper and not drag on the ground.

Citrus Crush ... Simple chic centerpieces

Simple and neat, small scattered arrangements can add a homey touch to the decor. I love the use of white and yellow ceramic vases to hold the arrangements, it really brings out the colours of the flowers. Use wooden planter boxes if you want a more rustic vibe.

Citrus Crush ... Lush Centerpiece

Lush centerpiece take center stage when set against an all white background. Create visual impact by grouping each type of flower and displaying each in interesting vessels. Vary the height of the arrangement, and introduce textures and shades for drama.

Style Board: Citrus Crush

There's nothing like a cool citrusy spritzer to starve off the hot summer sun. A tangy sweet concoction is sure to bring a much needed reprieve from the sweltering heat. Bring this into your wedding theme with buttery yellow and a touch of warm orange. I love a backdrop of white to fully bring out the cheerfulness of the yellow and orange. The focus here is yellow, so choose a bright lemon yellow and creamy pale yellow as the main colors, and throw in bits of orange sparingly.
