Cherry Blossom Joy ... Favors for keeps
Pretty prints galore! Chiyogami paper and printed fabric are perfect for creating simple gifts. Wrapping wooden or acrylic bangles with chiyogami paper, dressing a notebook with cherry blossom printed fabric, slotting place cards on origami cherry blossom, and using beautiful kimono fabric for wrapping favors furoshiki style. Cherry Blossom Joy ... Just a little DIY
For many of us, cherry blossoms are not readily available, even the faux ones are hard to come by sometimes, so crafting tiny blossoms resembling the delicate flower is a great budget friendly way to create decor for the theme. This great DIY from Martha Stewart Weddings is easy, and you can create a similar arrangement for the table centerpiece. You can purchase ready-made cherry blossom confetti, or cherry blossom paper punches and create the tiny blooms in shades of pink. Have fun crafting!

Cherry Blossom Joy ... Centerpiece
Cherry blossoms branches look amazing arranged on their own in glass or white ceramic vases. It's simple and chic. If you are lucky and can get hold of lush flowering cherry blossom, arranging them in hurricane vases creates a grand and spectacular centerpiece. There are faux cherry blossom branches that you can purchase, especially around the Chinese New Year period, but be sure to select the good quality ones, those look surprisingly real, and you can reuse them as home decor after the wedding. If a tall arrangement is not your preference, go with a floral arrangement of big blooms, and pepper the centerpiece with small twigs of cherry blossoms.

Cherry Blossom Joy ... Delectable goodies
This just looks too good to be eaten. Traditional Japanese snacks and sweets are such a feast for the senses. Very often inspired by the seasons and nature, these sweets pair wonderfully with Japanese green tea. Create a gastronomical experience for your guests with a small sample of wagashi, senbei and sencha, and they will be dreaming of days holidaying in Japan.

Style Board: Cherry Blossom Joy
Delicate and graceful, the cherry blossom holds great symbolism in Japanese and Chinese culture. To truly capture the essence of the cherry blossom, simplicity is the key. Pastel pink and white are the predominant colors to consider, dusty pink will add some dimension to the palette, and touches of gold to add just a little sparkle. Think of gold-rimmed white tableware and cherry blossom inspired stationery. For that unforgettable gift to present to your guests, pack a small assortment of traditional Japanese sweets and snacks into a box, and wrap it up with patterned fabric using the furoshiki technique.

Cherry blossom joy
I could sit beneath this tree and look up into the sky the whole day. Take a deep breathe and soak in the beauty and serenity of a cherry blossom tree. Since we do have to do some travelling to catch such a sight, looking at a photo or dreaming about it will suffice for now. Doesn't it inspire a wonderful spring celebration?
